Gearbox – A Private Collection

Angus Mitchell hosted a very special night for the grand opening of Gearbox LA in the city of Van Nuys. Guests and celebrities were able to admire Angus’ private car collection and enjoy cocktails and small bites while checking out this beautiful space called Gearbox.

Glamgical had the opportunity to chat with some of the attendees and interview Angus Mitchell to tell us the background and experiences of designing and building this magnificent studio dedicated to cars and arts in general.

Sachika Twins Collection

The Sachika Twins presented their collection on Monday Oct 22, 2018 to wrap up fashion week in Los Angeles. The show took place at the amazing OUE Skyspace in downtown, a perfect setting at the 70th floor for a stellar collection.

The designers have a deep sense of style reminiscent of glamorous Hollywood with an 80’s vibe, all in black. There were plenty of little black dresses, culottes, and coats, many of them with ample use of lace, making the collection sexy, classy, and sophisticated.

It Tastes Like Cherry

Cherry Boom Boom is a burlesque-inspired Rock n’ Roll a Go Go visual explosion of music, fashion, acrobats, and sexy dance acts. These girls portray the American Woman dream with several themes that take you to a wild dream of rock n’ roll.

Lindsey Allen and her creative team have put together a fantastic display of sets, lights, and costumes that appeal to both men and women in a very entertainment way.

Sabrina, A Global American Ambassador

Sabrina is a 22 year old woman who loves to travel around the world. She’s been to several countries and has lived in Asia for a year. She loves writing stories, blogging about her travels, and reading historical novels. For fun, she likes to participate in classic and vintage type photoshoots where she can dress up and become a character of any area.

4th Annual Team Up for Tourette

Devin Denicola, founder of Denicola Enterprises, put together a fundraiser event to bring awareness to Tourette syndrome. This was a star-studded red carpet party with guests mingling and enjoying special drinks and food at The Parlor on Melrose Avenue.

LA Trade Tech Fashion Show

On May 25, 2018, Los Angeles Trade Technical College showcased the designs of the graduating students in an impressive background.

Enjoy the footage of the event where the models walked the majestic, long purple runway, wearing the designs of the graduating students of the fashion program. Included in the video is an interview with student Layla Botshekan.

This impressive show was the ideal setting to thank Carol Anderson for her contribution throughout the years to the fashion department at LA Trade Tech College.

Abigail’s Dreams

Abigail Valdez is a Hispanic young girl following her dreams to become a model. Ever since she remembers, she’s always been interested in modeling and had friends with professional cameras occasionally taking pictures of her at beautiful sites, modeling for clothing brands, submitting her pictures to agencies, etc . She’s always looking for ways to expand her experience in the modeling industry, hoping one day she’ll get recognized by amazing photographers who would love to work with her and make her dreams come true.

She would love to give hope to those who have the same dream as she does. It’s possible to become a successful model with hard work and dedication and staying consistent overall. Abigail is not going to give up until she achieves her goal!

Olivia Amiri-A New Star Is Born

Glamgical is proud to present an interview with a young talent that is making waves in the music world. Her name is Olivia (Liv) Amiri and is only 11 years old. She is currently attending The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music under the guidance of Professor Ian Krouse. Olivia also takes piano theory and voice classes with Dr. Pamela Blackstone, Associate Artistic Director with the National Children’s Chorus.

Olivia is also a composer. As a matter of fact, she started composing when she was just 6 years old. She performs with The National Children’s Chorus at different venues, most recently at UCLA’s Royce Hall, where our interview took place. Along with her mom, she is also writing a series of children’s books called Liv On Life, inspiring young people to find their own voice.

All In For Autism Poker Tournament

Glamgical attended the All In For Autism Poker Tournament at the Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. Champions from the World Boxing Council as well as other athletes and entertainment celebrities played poker to support the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization Autism Speaks.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Autism Speaks’ Southern California Chapter and their mission of promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families; they will also benefit local families by providing Gemiini Educational Systems video therapy services to those in need.

Film Con Hollywood

Stage 32 organized Film Con Hollywood at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday March 24, 2018 that brought together a wide range of entertainment industry leaders. This gathering presented an exclusive glimpse of Hollywood and how to break into this competitive industry.

Attendees listened to key speakers and learn what is the best way to make contacts to establish important relationships that will lead them to successful careers whether they are actors, screenwriters, or any other aspiring showbiz professional.
