Glamgical is proud to present an interview with a young talent that is making waves in the music world. Her name is Olivia (Liv) Amiri and is only 11 years old. She is currently attending The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music under the guidance of Professor Ian Krouse. Olivia also takes piano theory and voice classes with Dr. Pamela Blackstone, Associate Artistic Director with the National Children’s Chorus.

Olivia is also a composer. As a matter of fact, she started composing when she was just 6 years old. She performs with The National Children’s Chorus at different venues, most recently at UCLA’s Royce Hall, where our interview took place. Along with her mom, she is also writing a series of children’s books called Liv On Life, inspiring young people to find their own voice.

Glamgical attended the All In For Autism Poker Tournament at the Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. Champions from the World Boxing Council as well as other athletes and entertainment celebrities played poker to support the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization Autism Speaks.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Autism Speaks’ Southern California Chapter and their mission of promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families; they will also benefit local families by providing Gemiini Educational Systems video therapy services to those in need.

Stage 32 organized Film Con Hollywood at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday March 24, 2018 that brought together a wide range of entertainment industry leaders. This gathering presented an exclusive glimpse of Hollywood and how to break into this competitive industry.

Attendees listened to key speakers and learn what is the best way to make contacts to establish important relationships that will lead them to successful careers whether they are actors, screenwriters, or any other aspiring showbiz professional.

Autism Speaks’ Gifting Your Spectrum Gala was a fundraising event held in Beverly Hills at the beautiful home of successful producers Lisa Lew and Peter Brennan on February 24, 2018.

The event aimed to bring awareness to autism and encourage the acceptance of those living with the condition and make them a productive and integral part of our society.

Celebrities gathered to celebrate inclusion and have a great time for a good cause. There was a silent auction, live performances, a fashion show, and exquisite food and drinks to entertain the guests to this noble event.

One week before Chinese New Year, our Glamgical team got to experience a beautiful Asian cultural event, the 2018 International Tea and Incense Cultural Exchange Presentation, hosted by the American Incense Culture Association and American Tea Culture Research Institute. The event was held in honor of Miss Chen Rusi, renowned traditional Chinese art master, who was awarded for her contributions to the Tea and Incense communities.

Born in China and having lived in the United States for many years, Miss Chen has explored the world of incense burning and tea making and its significance in not only the Chinese culture, but many other cultures around the world.

In the ceremony, Miss Chen performed in her traditional Chinese style, whilst beside her the traditional Japanese and Korean methods were also demonstrated. All styles proved highly aesthetic in the beautiful way the women gracefully performed their different practices. Miss Chen was clearly highly skilled in her elegant maneuvers, showing off her attention-to-detail and sharp precision in handling her tools and creating this exquisite art.

After the ceremony, Miss Chen was invited to speak about her background and the importance of these rituals in her life and culture. She was proceeded to be awarded by the heads of the organizations for her services and expertise in her work.

Miss Chen continues to keep traditional cultural practices alive through her work, and is most deserving of this high accolade.

Laura Lamprea is a 20 years old model born in Colombia. She’s been living in Los Angeles, California for three years. For Laura, it has been an amazing experience getting to know a new country and see how much interest the locals have for artistic expressions such as modeling. Since Laura was little, her family helped her to participate in modeling with two academies. She took a couple of classes to learn the skills of modeling, which has always drawn her attention. Laura enjoys expressing herself in front of the camera and communicate different emotions through photographs.

Ana Lamprea is also Colombian. She is 17 years old and will turn 18 on July. As a little girl, Ana really liked the idea of modeling and with her mom’s help, she went to modeling school for almost six months. She likes the idea of becoming a professional model and work with different brands: Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, H&M, Forever 21, etc. Ana knows that it takes some hard work to make it in the industry, but she is willing and ready to go for it.
Ana’s passion for modeling and fashion will always reflect in photoshoots as she feels very comfortable in front of the camera.
